The following is a list of all the theatres in which British Forces have been involved from 1945 to the present day – December 2009 – including participation in United Nation’s activities. Not included, but what was a constant threat from the 1950s through to 1990, is the Cold War stand off between NATO Forces and Soviet Russia.
